if u don't take notes u won't pass. she doesn't post her slides online and u cant take pictures of it in class
I'm sure some people did well in this course but it's definitely not a bird course like many people are hoping. The material may be hard to grasp bc it's not "common sense" like other bird courses. I felt like the tests weren't solely based off her slides. I went to every class but it felt like some info from the tests was missing from the slides.
Need to attend every class because she doesn't post slides or grades, both tests are completely based on slides.
Took this class thinking it was an easy A based on the reviews. The class is "easy" because it consists of 2 tests and 1 assignment, with no exam. Her lectures are very boring, and she does not post anything online (including grades). Test questions aren't based on what she said in class, even though there is no textbook. Would NOT take again.
Heavy writing/typing as she does not post her lectures on D2L. Repeats the same content stated in previous classes over and over again. Very passionate about the topics she teaches. She hates phones and will call you out in front of everyone if you are using it. Overall, the difficulty of this class is mediocre and very few assignments and tests.
Upon reading the reviews, I entered this class thinking it was going to be an easy A according to all of the other reviews. However, this course has proven to be incredibly difficult. Idk what everyone else was talking about or if I'm just clueless but this class is hard. Im not a science student AT ALL or math so if you're not either, dont take it
She's passionate about what she teaches and her lectures are interesting. You have to go to class but easy A+ if you just memorize the content.
Margaret is a darling. She is just so passionate about the subject matter that it also gets the listeners excited and interested in what he has to say. She also really cares about her students. If you've missed a class and doesn't have a friend to get the notes off of, you can always go to her during her office hrs to copy the notes from her.
Definitely an easy A+. Simple as taking notes and memorizing 2 days before the test. She taught directly off of slides. For those interested in the material, her course material isn't very enriching. The material is presented dry and the slides are formatted as if a 5 year old wrote it. Her classes could have inspired great discussions.
