If u into data science, this is a solid course. The prof is goated and explains things clearly. I'd recommend attending lectures because he gives useful hints for assignments and labs, which makes things easier. Labs are manageable, and exams are based on lecture content, so nothing comes out of nowhere. Overall, I'd recommend this course.
Lots of things going on at the same time so be on top of things to find success. His email replies are vague and not useful. Everything for class is organized, ready, and posted before the semester begins. You have the opportunity to go ahead of class, but there may be things he announces during lectures which may be useful.
I normally don't write reviews, my last semester in computer science program, he is the best professor in the whole department. Explains things very well with good analogies and examples, assignments and exams apply the material to real world situations.
A good professor, he teaches as best as he can and lets us go early if he's done with his agenda for the day. The course itself is very interesting a lot about ML, data models, analysis etc. The labs were done in groups but you had to demo it to the TAs. Professor likes when you answer his questions in class. Overall, i had a great time learning.
Prof is good, he gives you everything you need to succeed. Saw some complaints about his labs, don't listen to them! There are lots of resources he provides if lab set up is difficult for you. He tells you exactly what you need to know for the exams. Overall, good prof and easy course
Bro really wants you to know he writes textbooks and runs labs. A complete lack of planning, deadlines were whenever he felt like putting them, and would constantly change with no warning or announcement. Attempting to get clarification is a futile effort. Textbook is required and assignments are cruel jokes, with his buggy labs as the setup
Overall, not a bad prof, lectures were super dry tho. Talked about his textbook in every class, but it wasn't really needed to be successful in this class
Overall, Abhari is a great prof. Very helpful when you have questions. His lectures can be a bit dry, but he goes over lots of examples in class, which are useful for the exams. His course content is pretty straightforward and assignments are simple. Easy to get a good mark if you stay on track and practice his examples.
Good slides, don't really need to go to class, fair examinations and decent but mandatory labs
