ok prof goes thrpugh the slides in a okish manner, but she really doesnt do much else. Classes were mostly empty and the final was brutal, tanking my average.

Had her for cps188, pretty good.

ONE OF THE BEST CS COURSES I HAVE TAKEN!!!

This was one of my favourite CPS classes. The assignments and exams were very fair and directly related to course content. The final project also gave you an opportunity to make your own web crawler which was interesting. Pay attention in lectures- as a lot of questions had specific details that were mentioned in class.

I rarely use these websites but this is one of the best computer science courses I've taken, extremely interesting and the concepts are foundational to more advanced topics. Dr. Cherie Ding was also very knowledgeable on the topic, I would assume she specializes in this field. I recommend everyone takes this course.

The assignments are kinda tough but manageable. Very nice professor who did in class review before the midterm. Course material is very interesting but abstract so be sure to understand it. Understand the formulas taught very well and read each question carefully, and you'll be fine taking this elective

Lecture slides are not great but her explanations help. Exams are tough and differ a lot from what to expect from lectures and posted homework/exercises. STUDY CORE CONCEPTS AND KNOW THEM WELL. Homework assignments are slightly difficult and you'll need the lecture slides + labs. Go into great detail for the paper and follow all instructions.

She's nice when u go up to her to ask a question, but during lectures she talks fast to finish all the content. I already learned coding in hs so I was able to understand, but if you're a beginner try reading the slides before going to her lecture.

She is not a very good professor. You'll have a hard time actually learning what she's trying to teach due to her accent and lack of good explanations of the slides. Slides are not the best and sometimes hard to understand. Most people stopped attending lectures and learned C on their own from Youtube, w3schools, etc. You should do the same.

Awful at teaching. Mumbles in broken English for 2 hours and then sends you home. Gets lost in her own examples. I never write bad reviews but I am trying to warn you. Switch out of this profs class while you still can.
