An okay professor, but really funny at times. The first half of the course (untill the midterm) was very simple and straightforward, but it becomes very challenging in the second half. Do not fall behind because I did, and the final exam tanked my grade. Attendence is mandatory because he does not post the lecture notes on D2L. Midterm/exam is mcq.

Hamid might be hated for your first few weeks. But you'll notice his lectures are really quality worth. Every lecture is through knowledge and NOT slides. He does NOT post any notes unless exceptions on d2l, only bad thing is you must attend lectures for notes. No attendance, no extra homework. Straight to point. Examples are similar to test.

Very nice guy, quite funny as well. Doesn't post lecture notes but other then that good professor. Buy him coffee.

He managed to make CPS310 fun!! One of the best professors I've had in my undergrad, he was engaging and I felt like I understood the material. Definitely could have studied more to do better on the assessments, but I honestly felt like just going to the lectures was enough to genuinely just learn. Also humorous so +100 points!

Pretty good lecturer, he teaches like it's a high school class so he forces you to understand the content. The midterm was very easy, average was around 70s. He decided to make the final hard to drop averages so everybody did terrible on it. Just remember to practice what he says in class and make sure to do the homework and it's a easy A.

He is an alright professor. He does not post any notes so attending the class becomes a necessity. He provided an sample midterm and nothing like that was on midterm and the final. Just a heads up, his handouts and sample exam are way different than what will be on the actual exam.

You will walk out of this course confident in the material. Amazing lectures, he is very passionate about teaching. He will get upset if the class isn't engaged. He tries his best to make all classes worth coming to (especially early morning classes). Fair warning though, midterm was easy but the final was a bit tough so study!!!!!

so funny! knows what he's doing fs. you haveee to attend lectures tho and try ur best to understand concepts. the textbook is acc helpful too and the prof does a rlly good job with answering questions as well. he's very empathetic and wants you to do well. make sure to do labs before the day of. midterm and exam are mcq.

For the first time I really understood CPS310. Hamid does go above the expectation. He is the goat fr! Amazing lectures ( DON'T SKIP THEM). He even made the complex materials like abc.
