It's too bad she retired because we need more profs like her at Ryerson. She taught very well and I learned a lot. Her quizzes and the exam was more than fair. The essay was not too bad. Just read the textbook and attend class and you would do fine.
She is an amazing prof! She made the course very interesting. She's helpful and her gives lots of examples in class to explain the material. Similar examples show up on tests as questions so its crucial to attend class. The final was no surprise since it was very similar to the midterms, i.e,she more than prepares you for it. Overall, an awesome pro
Excellent professor. She communicates well and is EXTREMELY nice! She's not great with technology, like the time she typed her password on the overhead + the tech problems every week, but that wasn't too much of an issue. Tests are hard. Go to class and understand the cases. She is excellent
Knows her material very well and communicates it very well too. She also wrote the textbook for the course. But yes, her tests are pretty hard. On a side note - she's the only prof I've ever seen stop an entire lecture half-way through and end the class because no-one read the chapter that week. She finished it the next.
tests are hard. final exam changed into final essay. you need to put alot of effort into this course in order to get A-
She is nice and all however her tests are much harder then the other profs. She is the head and she pulls off gambits and tricks all throughout her tests that if you even study well you can still do bad through falling for her traps.Choose a different prof,as you will learn well, but will be lucky to get over 70 before the exam even with studying.
Great course, especially if you are law minor and never had any ibs courses. Good prof. with thorough knowledge on the subject. Interesting debates. Good Luck!!!
She is a really good prof, she likes you as long as you do the work, and she's friendly as well. This course is a little bit hard, but as long as you do the reading, you'll be fine.
interesting material, boring teacher. She refuses to clarify herself and told me, a B+, 3rd year commerce my reading level was inadequte for university material....aviod her class at all costs. Ryerson need to remove her!!!
She's really really tough. Unclear in her tests and in lecture. She's a real bore as well, bring a pillow
