Tim Sly

This course is hard if you do not listen to lectures, If you do attend lectures and follow steps as he does it's not difficult to get a good mark. He is also very kind and wants students to succeed, has gone out of his way to send me course material that I needed for my work as a health and safety supervisor well after I graduated.

We are very lucky to have this course , Dr Sly is an excellent prof who teaches the tough subject of statistics in an easy and funny way .

It was an honor to have epidemiology with someone who has such a vast experience in this field . A great professor . easy material. show up to his class and an easy A ! if you don't , you are screwed.

Fantastic teacher. Clear mastery of his field, and explains things at a perfect pace, always allowing students to ask questions. very patient and quite humourous, which keeps things rolling. One of the best teachers I have encountered at Ryerson.

I'm Not entirely sure why some people speak poorly of Pofessor Sly. We could be so lucky if we were as knowledgeable and intelligent as him. Great professor and helpful if you ask questions. He is not a mind reader-you must ask questions if you don't understand.Humour helps break the dullness of some of the material.Overall,an EXCELLENT professor

Great professor, there is no reason not to do well in his course. Content may be hard to some, but he does everything to make you understand it and be able to do well. Tests are not as difficult as the material taught.
