Loved him! The lab can bump your grade depending on your TA, and his marking scheme is awesome - he wants his students to do well and will try his best to get you to a passing grade. Need to ensure studying hard because the exam formats are essay-style short answer questions, make sure you go to class so you can soak up all of the info.

Professor Bostan really knows his stuff his accent isn't even that bad compared to what everyone's saying here, he gives excellent explanations and really takes his time to talk to students if they have any questions super nice and straight forward prof his midterms/exams are also very fair.

honestly hes not too bad but he's not great. he's extremely vague with questions and expects concrete answers. do better and choose someone else

Most boring lecture I've ever had. He has a heavy accent which makes it difficult to understand. He reads off his slides, so you don't have to go to class. But the slides were not enough for midterms, so you have to do additional readings.

The PowerPoint notes should be used as a secondary source, the textbook needs to be your PRIMARY source of information for the test. You MUST read the ENTIRE chapter for a good grade.

has a slight accent that makes him hard to understand at times, sometimes he mumbles/doesn't articulate so make sure you pay close attention to what he says during lectures and take notes. you can easily do well if you study from his slides and read the textbook. mid-term & final were easy/straight forward, but you can't get by without studying.

Has a thick hard to understand accent. Not always sure what he saying in class cannot properly enunciate words and talking in mumbles. Also likes to fast forward very quickly and explains topics very poorly. Would not recommend. 1/10 not ur homie

Loved this prof soooo much! Tbh i didn't like him at first, I found it hard to understand him as he has a slight accent and his slides don't have a lot of information, but in the end he became one of my favourite profs at ryerson. He's suuuuuper nice and he wants everyone to do well. His exams are fair and he is a very easy marker.

Honestly had a lot of problem finding the will to go to his lectures. He just reads off of the slides and his slight accent can make it hard to understand him. His midterm was straight forward. You can pass the course by just reading the textbook.
