Do not recommend. It's an english class but she doesnt want any actual analysis she just wants her own opinions parroted back to her. gave us random pop quizes with unfair questions that she would come up with on the spot. gave us no real timeline for the class but would be mad if certain things weren't done. no consideration for students.

Found her class so boring that I stopped going to lectures. All assignments are done in your tutorial and marked by your TA. Really strict about electronic devices and even denied one of my accommodation requests. Attendance is important in the tutorials for this class.

This course is difficult due to strict grading and unclear expectations. There is a disconnect between the professor and TA, causing confusion about assignments. Written work requires depth but lacks time. Lectures are one-sided and not engaging, with little interaction. Overall, expectations are high without enough clarity or support.

Lectures are very boring and she doesn't use slides, which makes it hard to stay engaged. All graded work is done in tutorials and depends a lot on your TA (mine was nice). Assignments and pop quizzes are very nitpicky and focus on small details within the readings. Would recommend taking this course with a different prof.

There have been multiple instances where she's stopped someone trying to go to the bathroom or leave, and told them they couldn't come back until the break in the middle of the lecture... Even if you're not disruptive, minding your business, whatever, she'll interrupt and humiliate you in front of the whole class. Tough marker and has pop quizzes.

TAs do everything, never miss tutorials. Won't take prof again but easy course. the grading is unclear which is why i got a B. Ask TAs questions. prof wont answer qs just yaps. txtbk online no exam poem short story and hamlet analysis.

Prof. is a joke and a half. She doesn't interact with her students whatsoever. Her TA's do everything. Doesn't like when people go to the bathroom, often gets mad at students for insignificant things like looking at the their phone for a spilt second. Loves to talk and needs you to shut up and listen. Assignment are handwritten in class. Not clear.

Don't miss lectures or tutorials. Ignore her snarky comments and do the work you should get an easy credit. Class consists of poetry, short stories, a novel and hamlet closed readings.

This professor slowly drains your soul. For some reason she doesnt allow the use of phones during tutorials and even once got angered by a student having her phone on her person during a test. She even said "just because you have your phone during a test you will fail." I think shes genuinely miserable

She's kind of mean and passive aggressive to students. A student in the class who was probably on the spectrum sometimes would make impromptu comments interrupting the class. Yes these types of comments are inappropriate. But the profs reaction I felt was negative and immature. I've seen other profs deal with similar situations in much better ways.
