You'll never have again another prof as good as her. She taught me the "why" behind everything. She explains every pathophysiological process in the body as a story making it easier to remember. Dr. Bishop teaches you to love patho and to discover the incredible and amazing the human body is.
An absolutely amazing professor! she made me so excited to learn and was really good at explaining difficult concepts. If you ever need extra help, just send her an email and she will go over it again. She loves her students and made me so confident in a course I was genuinely terrified of.
She is an amazing prof and it is clear that she genuinely cares about her students and their success. Her lectures are so helpful in better understanding the content and putting everything together. A great professor and a great person overall!
Dr. Bishop was one of my favourite professors. She is SO organized and really cares about our understanding. She is the only prof who gives real feedback on our tests. She made a hard course, my favourite course. The course is hard, and you need to study, but with Dr. Bishop you will do great!
Sue is the best prof ever. She knows how to teach her students well. Her slides are so organized and easy to understand. If you have Sue as your pathophysiology prof, you are so lucky. Please stay with her and learn all the materials she provides. This course is very heavy in year 2 nursing, however, Sue will help you to get through this obstacle.
GREAT PROF.
Susan is an amazing prof! Many 2nd yr students fear PAT20 bc it is a tough course. However, Susan makes it easy to understand concepts. She provides an overview to begin the lecture that binds the concepts together (DO NOT MISS OUT ON IT) and provides important info during lecture. Study off of her ppt slides & read txtbook to fill in the blanks
Sue is the best prof ever during my school life. Patho is one of the hardest courses in nursing, because the materials are very heavy. But Sue's ppts and classes are good enough for you to learn. She cares her students a lot, and doesn't skip any emails. If you have her as your prof, good for you, definitely go to her lecture! SO HELPFUL!!!
Sue is a phenomenal teacher. She is always looking for feedback and ways to improve her lectures. So she is very responsive to student feedback. Patho is a dense course which can get confusing. I find her very approachable to clear concepts. She has very detailed PowerPoints, and I did well by just studying off of them.
Susan is one of the best profs I've had thus far in nursing school. PAT20 is the class that scares the most students coming into second year however, Susan made it very enjoyable. She begins lectures with an overview which ties concepts together. Her teaching method allows students to UNDERSTAND rather than memorize. Finished PAT20 with an A+.
