Art Pierce

Professor Pierce was a great prof. His stories about his experience in sales were practical and interesting. Tests and projects were straight forward. It was a great honor to have him in my last yr at Ryerson. Too bad he's retiring:(

I think the last post was completely unfair. This guy is an extremely fair professor, with straightforward tests and a project which is a doable. Just have a good partner and your set.

Switching into his class was the best decision I ever made. Tests are straight from the easy-to-read book. Ability to challenge mark as a whole class. Get a good partner and you're set. He doesn't waste time either; skims through PowerPoint really quickly. Gives long breaks. Looks like Mr. Feeney from Boy Meets World.

Take Marketing with this guy and ull be fine

One of the easiest classes ever! Attendance is mandatory but you can just sign in then leave. After the midterms the class fights back the test answers so everyones mark improves. Get a good partner for the assignment (it's worth 70%) and he likes it when you project looks good (use lots of colours, pictures, and graphs).

even though his class is easy...i found him to be a very rude professor (at least to me...when i asked him questions that he found too annoying to answer he became incredibly mean and rude to me)....and attendance is mandatory...you loose 20% off your final grade if you do not attend class

PIECE OF CAKE! Just make sure you have a trustworthy partner and you pick a good company for your final project. Its done throughout the semester so no last-minute cramming. Also the ONLY 2 tests (15% each) are easy as hell. GET THIS MAN ONCE YOU ENROLL. I'm pretty sure he's retiring since he's very old but he's a good man. I LOVE HIM. =)

Prof's 2 midterms are EXTREMELY EASY (no final) just read the book once. You can also challenge marks for midterms. So if you feel you deserve a mark, challenge it and likely you'll win. I got 10% higher doing this. Pres and manual are a joke, barely looks at it. Just make it look nice. Got an A. Get him while you can, he is old and near retirement

Very knowledgable, just needs to actually TEACH. Other than that, he is very FAIR with fighting for marks and extending due dates and resubmitting work. He should put forth more effort in getting attention from students. As long as you read the book and understand it, you'll be fine. I didn't really try, but I still passed. Assignments are tough.
