Midterm was an in-person handwritten essay with limited time, which made it hard to finish. It took 6 weeks to get grades back. Final project timeline was unclear: we chose buildings in Sept but most were rejected late in Nov during peak studio deadline, causing avoidable last-minute work. In-class assignments easy but annoying.
The professor was very enthusiastic during lectures which made the course enjoyable. The assignments were reasonable and I had a good experience overall.
doesn't let us use laptops during lectures because apparently the class “lost her trust” by doing other coursework while attending her class. makes snarky comments like that every class. also doesnt post any lecture slides.
Amazing prof, willing to help you outside class and office hours
One of the nicest and caring professors I had. She is always available to answer questions and will accommodate you if you have real issues. Also a great lecturer, easy to listen to and understand and dumb things down at first so everyone gets it regardless of their prior knowledge.
June is a sweetheart who is very intelligent on the topic of architecture. She makes sure you understand every angle of a project or of what you are doing wrong before the next topic is brought up. Very nice during critique too as she makes it seem like your work is not errors just areas to adjust.
Very kind and knowledgeable prof. But personally, she alienated me by only giving me 70's (where everyone else got 80+) no matter the suggestions she gave and increased quality I put in to my work. For project 4, she frequently made me revise many components and still gave me a 70 even with more content put into it compared to project 1.
She is a very kind and welcoming prof. It was a great experience to have her as my first studio instructor.
Wonderful, sweet, very helpful, awesome advice. Comes from a fine art background, so better than most profs for playing around with new ideas.
