why she have so many lawsuits
Dr. Pirner is a good professor. Her exams aren't cumulative, which reduces stress, and they're straightforward. There are no assignments in the class. Her PowerPoints are a great study guide. Good luck!
I love how structured her content is. She transforms material that could be complicated into comprehensive pieces, breaking it down to make it easy to understand. She provides a book for her class, but if you focus on studying the slides, you can still achieve a good mark. Approachable and supportive throughout the course.
Her lectures are not boring, are made for students to think and use our critical thinking! Her exams are though, but you know that if you do poorly is because you didn't study enough. She is always available for her students. We may not always get the answer we want, but she is ready to have a chat if we need to. I will happily take her class again
Her courses are well-designed and students know what to expect. You will do well if you go to class and study her objectives. They are difficult courses, but Diane clarifies what you must do to succeed. She is consistent and a good teacher. Can be a little harsh about exam etiquette.
Believe all these 1 star reviews!!! My whole class hated her. Worst instructor ever. Very accusatory, rude and argumentative. Switch out of her class if you can.
Taking NUR 820 in the final semester of my nursing degree with NO regrets. This course is well-organized and gets you ready for writing the NCLEX. The course covered all the importance of different body systems. With so many hours in placement, this course helps a lot because it is online (with modules) and you can study at your own pace.
tests are hard, wouldn't want to take the course if not because of program requirement very cold response when you reached out to her to ask for feedback good luck to those of you who are about to take a course with her I wish someone told me earlier...
Slow to respond to queries, comments, or concerns but quick to accuse of wrongdoing (she's known for it). Main essay paper expectations unclear and in different format than usual university essays (i.e. APA). Pirner is unprofessional and extremely hard to learn from. If you can, go to someone else for the course.
She has to be the nicest person Ive ever met. She truly care for student success.
