I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk I hate the way that you dress I hate the way you sneak diss, if I catch flight, it's gon' be direct
Bless This man's heart. Only Prof in 2nd semester is okay with helping his students with their marks with the bonuses and stuff. Man of culture, if you are reading this, thank you.
The course is pretty old-dated. You can find so many mistakes there and the instructions are absolutely uninteresting, disorganized, and useless. He pushes too much and the expectations are unrealistic. though you will be forced toward hard self-study to get rid of it. He is a surprisingly famous professor for unfair treatment.
Really just can not teach. Reads of slides and when asked to go in depth , gives the bare min explanation. Does not show his work properly.
Lectures are mostly just him reading off the slides, but his examples are useful. Pop quizzes are annoying but you can learn a lot from them. Midterm and final are tough and require a lot of studying. Labs are a joke. Do well on the labs and they can carry your mark in the course.
Very interesting and useful course. I found his lecture slides enough for what was covered on the midterm and final exams. Make sure you do well on the midterm because the final will be difficult. I didn't go to class bc i thought the prof was bored teaching which made it hard to learn, it would help if he enjoyed it more
well I 100% agree that the good reviews are written by him ( ie Farrokh S). he is arrogant, not helpful but go to the class and do the work you will get a B+ or an A. but just dont expect him to be nice or go extra miles. also he was sued a few times both by PHD students and others.... just avoid if you can!
I would never suggest anyone take any courses he instructs. Simply speaking, it would be a remorseless brutal person-person experience! Teaching is not in good quality with so many copy-pasting issues, though the expectations are dramatically high.
Exellent Professor. Hardly seen such a helpful instructor @ Ryerson.
