Great professor, used the textbook to make her own course notes, along with lecture presentations where she explains all concepts thoroughly (also has recorded videos). Weekly online quizzes helped prevent falling behind. Only 3 labs, easy to follow, helped solidify the understanding. Would take this professor again, unfortunately she is retiring.

To be honest when i first took her course in ele 639 i was a bit intimidated with her midterm exam but know this. If her exams are super tough she is a lienent marker as long as u sow her on paper u understood her teaching. Even if ur final ans is wrong she checks for ur understanding not ur final answer. Ele 829 she was just a legend.

It is an easy A course if you put in the work. Attendance is not mandatory but she gives you participation points which if capped, become bonus marks. She gives A LOT of assessments to help reach bonus marks, but I would still recommend to attend class so you can skip some quizzes. The D2L has a lot of content so it may seem overwhelming at first.

Wonderful! Teaches a course widely regarded as difficult, but boils the material down to simple concepts. I wish Ryerson had more professors like her.

Professor Zywno is not your run-of-the-mill lecturer. As others say, shes quite eccentric and odd but in a good way. She goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the content completely. She gives opportunities for extra marks, but the thing she's most strict about is plagiarism. The labs are also very tedious, but overall she's great!

Her course notes and shell are very messy, it's so overwhelming. She also some times has a very rude and snarky attitude during lectures. She kinda just rambles a lot of the time and in general, is a very boring lecturer. Activity points (participation marks) is just stupidity. You are practically forced to come to her garbage lectures.

You can tell that she is here to teach, and she is doing a great job. Her lectures are outstanding and create an impossible bar for any other professor to meet. Her style is inspired by real teaching techniques, and you can tell that she cares about her work.

Overrated prof, tries to force students to participate in her lecture when she just reads of slides. She also is very disorganized and has multiple useless slides to go through. I really dont get why people like her. Strict on the stupidest things for labs, TA instructed to take marks off on so many parts that have nothing to do with the actual lab

It is faster to learn a lot of the stuff from YouTube videos. Notes and course site are a mess and have too much useless stuff that it's actually hard to find anything. I find lectures very boring and hard to learn from. Labs are long. Tests are fair, just requires tonnes of practice. Forces attendance with Clickers. Very caring prof however.

one of the best eng profs. she gives you everything you need so theres no surprises at all. do her old midterms and finals and your good.
