The classes that I took with her were very well organized, clear and interesting. She covered a huge amount of material throughout the semester.
She is an okay teacher who has a lot of field experience and helps us to understand PH work. Lectures are at a slower pace than other classes. Her field trips help to tie the entire semester altogether.
Trudi goes out of her way to help students beyond the class room. She never turns away a request for advice. I think she is a great person.
Trudi is a great instructor; she's well informed, up to date, and has fun teaching. Although unorganized at times, she makes up for it in her personality and knowledge of the profession. Her past as a PHI results in numerous stories that provide a great insight into public health practice in Ontario.
Whatever else you may think of Trudi, she is not uneducated. She went through our program and did a Masters degree at Guelph. She was reportedly an excellent student who could have gone on to PhD studies had she chosen to. Extremely helpful in person!
I like her. She just got me a job!!
Trudi the field is calling your name....run back
If you all only knew this poor woman...she tries so hard, and she knows SO much. I have Reg. 562 burned into my brain because of her. She's an easy target, but really, really try to get to know her before you pass judgement. I think you will find her to be helpful, intelligent and kind.
Oh lord, this woman...some people just should not teach. She looks like she's on the verge of a nervous breakdown every class...freaks out at everything & patronizes. Her HUSBAND is the well-connected one, she just is by extension. Think he does her slide shows as well.
