He doesn't teach, if you have a question he literally tells you to read the book . Not helpful. Very rude. Disrespectful to students

Suffered through 2 mandatory classes with him - boring, stressful and unavoidable, unfortunately he's the only one teaching these two courses in htm. he doesn't explain concepts properly, extremely confusing!! expects you to know everything and doesn't even bother explaining results of iclicker questions to help you understand the right answer.

Long and boring lectures. If you're late to class, he will not let you in until break. Iclickers are worth 10-15% so lectures are mandatory to attend. No one understands him except the kids that sit at the front. Make sure to read his textbook and do homework questions to pass this class.

Awesome prof., easy to understand the material because he breaks it down for you. If you find his material or teaching style difficult then you shouldn't be in University. Ask him a lot of questions, he will give you more attention, thus helping you succeed in his courses.

Classes are not mandatory except for the 2 hour lectures for clicker marks. Spending time on lyryx and doing your homework will guarantee at least a B.

It is really too bad that we have to suffer for 2 classes with him. But he is unavoidable, make the best of the situation and hire a tutor - his TA is awful, and never speaks english. Hire a tutor from BTM Accounting major and you should be fine.

Show up for his classes, b/c he clarifies the textbook concepts in his lectures. His clicker questions and Lyryx labs help to reinforce the knowledge learned. His exams are not easy but very reasonable. He doesn't believe in tricking students but makes sure that you know everything you need to for future courses. Extremely respectful of students!

Professor McEvoy is such a sweet and enthusiastic teacher. The only reason why people dislike is because of the topic matter, irregardless of his method of teaching. He is extremely supportive during his office hours and gives relative examples to further understanding during lectures. No surprises on the exam
