Everything was so unnecessary difficult.
I love her; she is the best professor I have ever had. Smart, funny, knowledgeable. I chose a schedule I didn't want, just to be her student again.
Lorrisa was very passive aggressive and was never clear with what she wanted when it came to assignments. Would not take her classes again, I started out enjoying the class but by the end of the semester, even though it is my best graded course from the tests, she is the reason i would not return
Lorrisa is really good at communicating which is important for an online course! She will respond to emails quickly! You do have to put in effort in the project and assignments but it is very doable and the expectations are outlined very clearly. Also provides very detailed rubrics, which makes it easy to follow.
I had Lorrisa for an online course and she was great at communicating! She did 2 updates per week which was very helpful since it tells you what is due and what you need to study for that week. All her assignments expectations are very detailed, therefore if you follow them and put work into it you will get a good grade. Really liked her teaching!
Lorrisa is a highly experienced retail professional - she's worked for countless companies (TJX, Wal Mart, Hudson Bay, etc.) and uses real-world examples to explain concepts that we'll undoubtedly use post-graduation. Follow her rubrics closely and reach out when you have questions (she's very accessible) and you're guaranteed an A or higher.
Awesome prof I really loved her. Just make sure you do the reading before class and youll be okay. Midterm was pretty hard, marks had to be curved. Would love to have her again.
She doesn't mark hard. She's rather fair in her assessments. She marks off the rubric entirely, Do what it says and you'll do fine. Expect a B & upwards. Have good notes as there is no ebook. The course has a lot of assessments. Discussion post, quizzes, labs. Expect a maximum of 2 of those 3 per week. Just think about that before you take this.
She's good at getting back on emails quickly. She cares about her students and want them to do well, so she's approachable to questions. She has a tendency to read off the slides. The course itself is bland content from the assignment is hardly related to the course. However, I think she has potential to be a better professor in another course.
Lots of homework that you must do her way or fail. Other then that a great teacher.
