Roy was not a great professor. Very repetitive and did not explain things that well in the lectures or labs. Always repeated every class: ProfitRevenue-Cost. Tried to be intimidating the whole semester, until the end where he tried to be nice. Study the book/slides and do decent on the labs, and should at least get something in the 70 range.
Roy was a really bad professor, with lectures and the labs. He cannot teach at all. Always says the same things, ProfitRevenue-Cost. You will not learn anything so study the slides and do your best with the labs. He was intimidating for the most of the course, and tried to be nice at the end. You get marked for attendance. Get another prof.
I had QMS102 with Roy and got C+. Took QMS 202 with another prof and got A+. Just shows how bad he is at teaching.
Professor Ng was one of the worst profs I've had at Ryerson. His lectures are not clear and when you ask him for clarification he still gives vague answers. I was essentially teaching myself the course, avoid him.
omg worst prof ever. So rude everytime you ask a question and if you have a question he will belittle you. He is so rude over email and not helpful. Makes this class way harder than in needs to be. The exam was way too difficult and overall the WORST prof I have had at Ryerson.
Probably the worst QMS professor at ryerson. His English is terrible, so you spend more time trying to figure out what he's saying then actually learning the content. He marks hard and always messes with your head with his none of the above answers. You can't really ask questions because he doesn't speak English. Awful prof.
Absolute worst. Does not clarify. Does not use the right presentation for class. Does not listen attentively. Does not demonstrate caring or helpfulness towards students. Makes wrong assumptions. Dismisses you by saying you need to work with a group before you go ask him questions, even though you were only asking him if you got the right answer.
Roy is a decent guy. Tried to be intimidating at first and then lightened up a bit and started making jokes which was all peachy keen. He is a HORRIBLE prof though. He rambles about the same things every week and never actually lectures about the material on tests. To anyone who's had him.. Profit=Revenue-Cost.
I went to class on the first day and never went again. He says that if you have good attendance he will round up your mark. I learned the entire class on my own using the textbook, and I never touched his lecture notes.
Doesn't clearly explain concepts or set expectations.
