She is nice and answers questions/emails fast, however her online teaching is not great. The material is not well organized, some notes in slideshows only apply to the in-class group. After the midterm we had no connection to the weekly material,we had to participate online on whatever topics colleagues posted that were not proofed for accuracy.
She's worthless! The worst prof I ever had. She has no knowledge of IT, her phd is in education. Go teach education!!
She is a nice teacher and responds to e-mails in a timely manner, but tends to mix up deadlines and instructions.
One of the best professors at Ryerson hands down!!! She teaches with a lot of enthusiasm. She is also very encouraging to all her students. She gives nothing but praise. The course is not that difficult as long as you read the textbook and complete all of the work that is assigned. I recommend her if you are given the chance! SHE IS AMAZING
Very helpful, responds to questions in a timely manner. The course has a lot of assignments so be prepared. I would not waste money on the Wiley Plus access code. I logged on only once, never used it, not needed at all for this course. Just buy the text book and IT Lab.
Most importantly she is not competent for distance education style of teaching. She is very unorganized, she does not communicate properly she has made numerous mistakes in directing her class. Her instructions are not clear. Because of this online experience, I am moving back into the class. This was a horrendous experience. Not happy at all.
Have very little knowledge that she could actually share. Most of the material in this class is rather self explanatory. Some of the programs used such as Power Point, is quite obvious considering most students have already used it prior to university.
Extremely understanding correspondence teacher who is supportive of her students, and encourages them to stay on top of their readings with small assignments on a weekly basis. She made distance education less scary.
Means well, but can be very unclear with instructions. Beware!
I've taken two classes with her. Can't believe I made that mistake TWICE. Really, really sweet woman who means extremely well, but I just didn't learn a thing. Not a challenge. Could be better if there was some challenge put forth. We didn't even have a lecture for this class all semester. I thought i was going to learn something. disapointing.
