Comes off as nice, but as the course progresses she becomes more and more rude. The course contains weekly activities via an group instagram account. There is no need to do anything on this instagram as it does not count to your participation grade whatsoever and is a complete was of time.

I loved this course but there were problems I had with the final. She is a great prof but the final was something else. I had a A- going into the exam, and I have not received my mark yet, but I don't expect it to be great. I studied almost all the material given but she chose to test us on random fun facts from lectures that weren't important.

NML is a passionate professional. I truly appreciate the course content and assignments, which allowed for more inward reflection and practical outcomes. Some may struggle with less-defined grading criteria, but if you put effort into the ethos of an assignment, you will do well. Feedback was excellent, and the course was structured very well.

Professor Lister is highly knowledgeable in the fields of planning, ecology and sustainability. Her lectures are stimulating, and she encourages group participation. Assignment variety was thought provoking. She is a great person to learn from.

If you are curious, open and keen to learn and work hard, urban planning comes to life, especially with NM's field trips.

Be ready for her to change the premise of her projects the night before they're due with no communication apart from her D2L discussion board so always check!! Has a superiority complex that makes her difficult to approach. Lacks respect for students outside of the classroom setting. Her tests are not too difficult if you study and attend lectures.

A lot of readings each week. Readings were all posted on D2L, but were deleted after 2 weeks. She was really enthusiastic about ecology, but seemed to have included too much course material into each lecture. Class was graded on a couple of assignments, midterms and a final exam.

Never responded to my email. Never on time and expects students to be on time.

The worst and most disrespectful prof you will have. Please you can avoid having her save your self. She tells students that she is too busy to respond to emails and needs 48 hours (excluding weekends) to respond. Never once on time and her exams ask about the school mascots . She Once said that she has a full time job to care about students.

The lectures are great and the field assignments are fun but the readings are dull and the multiple choice questions on exams will trip you up.
