Easy course if you are good at excel. All classes are online, no attendance, no group assignment. Weekly assignments are not really easy but if you spend time you can always receive full grade.
Great Professor, his lectures are easy to follow along and understand. He has them posted so you can always go back to them whenever. There were weekly assignments and quizzes, but they were easy to complete if you watched his videos. Not hard to get an A+.
While the workload can be heavy, Prof. Inglis is an excellent instructor. Lectures are engaging, and he's always willing to clarify concepts. Using unstuckstudy and the free textbook made studying a breeze. Definitely recommend this class.
To be honest, he is a good professor and a nice guy. He will give you tons of opportunities to get bonus marks but after taking 3 courses with him, I will say, his courses are a lot of work on a weekly basis. Lots and Lots of work to do but in terms of grading, hes very good. Unless its a numerical question, a decent amount of work is enough.
Excel can be annoying to navigate but I find that Prof. Inglis is good at giving clear guidelines for students to follow. He also tends to answer questions fairly well and gives clear expectations of what he wants to be completed on his assignments. Great class and prof to take if you are looking to get a Finance Minor.
I think he is a great prof. Very nice and helpful
A great professor who was exceptional when it came to teaching and realizing how students are coping with the pandemic. He does not take away a lot of narks if you are a day or two late like max 10% but is understanding if you don't normally hand it in late. The final is difficult but overall great prof. Need more profs like Michael.
He is not a bad guy at all. I did not find him to be rude at all, however his teaching style was not very effective for an online course. His quizzes and exams did not necessarily cover much of the content learned in the actual lectures, you have to learn more of it by yourself. He is considerate however, he bell curved our midterm marks.
His tests and quizzes are never from material that we are taught. This prof doesn't even follow what the rest of the profs are doing and makes things 10x more harder than other classes.
