LAW122 is a content heavy course, but the cheatsheet for the exams help you aslong as you put stuff from every lecture and you understand. She's a nice person and always encourages participation to help you succeed. There's just 2 exams weighted heavily, however it is NOT MC, and you have to use the IRAC format to answer most. Good luck!
Extremely Kind, insightful, and entertaining lectures. She always encouraged the class to ask questions and happily answered and explained any questions students had. Probably the best prof for this course and would recommend her to any students able to take her class.
Professor Abadi explains tough concepts with amazing clarity. Lectures are long, and the material is pretty dense, but Professor Abadi keeps class very entertaining and encourages participation. She is also very very nice and great to talk to outside of class.
really great lecturer. law in general is very content heavy but she is very thorough in her explanations, provides a lot of examples and is happy to answer any questions or clarifications in class. you can get a good mark without reading a word in the textbook, if you attend lectures and pay attention!
Just rambles on and on during lectures and there is no class participation factor. Very boring and the course sylllabus is very bad.
Best teacher I've ever had, anyone complaining is just complaining about the weight distribution which is across sections. I never had the physical textbook and got 100 on the midterm just from notes from her lectures. Attend the lectures and understand it (she explains it simply) and your more than fine.
She is a good professor. She basically says exactly what's in the textbook, but only the stuff you need to know so the textbook is not necessary. Explains concepts well and is caring
very very good lecturer and makes material easy to understand by providing plenty of examples, class participation is encouraged but she doesn't pick on anyone. she basically summarizes the textbook so attendance isnt really necessary but it is helpful if you want to truly understand the material / dont feel like reading.
You're only graded on midterm and final. It's very hard to get a good grade if you don't know what answer they expect. She basically covers the stuff in the textbook but summarized. I survived just going to lectures without reading much of the book. She's thorough when discussing and I found it easy to understand.
She had no reviews online before i took the course with her but she's a good prof. The midterm was worse than the final so don't worry too much if you fail the midterm (i did). Her lectures are straightforward but she is a little slow to explain concepts but I can't really blame her since law is mainly information heavy/based so it will take time.
