she is very nice and sweet and if you'd go to her and do not understand something she will explain it again. I would have like more review before exam but I wish I could have her again. I love how simple and easy it was to understand
She is one of those professors who makes a heavy course feel fun and doable! She is very funny, understanding, and incredibly knowledgeable. Biology can be a heavy course, but if you pay attention in class, her teaching style helps you learn a lot and do well. She is also always willing to help her students.
Great professor. Long, content heavy lectures but she makes them interesting and engaging. She's hilarious!
I'm aware that the course itself is very information-heavy, however I think with the way she teaches, she expects us Psych students to get everything as if we're Pre-meds. I'm actually wondering how anyone survived this course with 0 cheat sheet, this is straight up medical school entrance exam.
I loved Dr. Ruttle's class! She made learning psych concepts fun and her lectures were very engaging, she's super funny. Her exams were kinda hard tho. She cares a lot about her students doing well and will take time to explain concepts when you don't understand. I looked forward to her class as it was my favourite, she was my fav prof all semester
the slides are clear and posted though attend lectures to understand to the point that its common sense. such a fun and caring professor. classes finished an hour early most times but it was lots of info, create flashcards and notes after each lecture. trust me it helps later. weighting is fair. 2 writing assignments and 3 25% tests including exam
Dr. Ruttle is one of my favourite profs. She is really engaging with her lectures and is very funny. She is so helpful and sweet. I wish she taught more psych classes at TMU! Her midterm and exams are very straightforward if you attend the lectures, as the test questions are directly related to the slideshows and in-class examples.
She is the BEST. Very down to earth and relatable, easy to listen to in lectures, and covers a lot without droning on (we were often let out 45min-1hr early!) Very straightforward with grading and what's going to be on the tests, and very willing to communicate with and give you hints on what to study/how to do well. I hope I can have her again!!
