Shes amazing, you can tell she loves what she does, she's always available if you need help, she's very understanding, and makes her lectures very engaging.
Started off the semester very well. Towards the end it felt like she started to resent students in our class for leaving the lecture early. Even went on a whole rant to some of the class (she was on the verge of tears) about the people leaving early. Great prof but felt unprofessional
10/10 She is an amazing Prof and you never second guess yourself in her class. 3hour classes always suck but with how she structured her lecture it wasn't terrible.
Lisa is a passionate and wonderful professor. Her lectures are engaging and this is a class where you feel seen as an educator and a student. Work comprises of 2 papers, participation marks, and 1 group final. She goes above and beyond for her students to do well in her course, and she makes time to connect outside of class to ensure you succeed.
If you like interactive, thought-provoking lectures, Lisa is amazing. Made an 8am 3 hr lecture bearable. Readings are heavy (academic articles). You can get away with skimming them, but they are very worthwhile to read. Attendance matters as it is essentially 30% of your grade. The rest of your grade is one group project and one essay.
