There is not much I can say. Study on your own. I dont understand why a full time professor does not teach cvl405. This is an important course and should not be given to lecturers.

I got a good mark but the professor was not prepared to teach this class. Not organized or experienced. He is a nice but not a great teacher. Sometimes late for class and not able to answer questions.

The CVL 405 midterm was basically questions from the lectures and assignments. Majority of the midterm questions were solvable if you studied. However, the final was pretty difficult but overall it was fine. Professor Elamin even gave our class a 17% curve for the midterm to help students bring their grade up. Overall, standard prof.

For 323 he made the course as easy as it can get. Yes he shows up late for lectures and midterms, but he makes the course a bird course. A win is a win.

Very boring and long lectures. Exams were fair and prof is nice.

Elamin's exams were easy, but his lectures were longer than they had to be and he just read off of the slides.

though the course itself is pretty easy, he often reads off the slides. Not to mention he often comes late to classes and doesn't even apologize (he even came an hour late to an exam once btw)

the course is difficult and hard to follow if you are not into math! good point, there are not many chapters, but you need to study for a good grade. the class is useful if u study and listen. he teaches good for this course (not as perfect as 323) but he takes quizzes and gives some participation marks, and exam is from assignments and lectures.

the course is simple and you don't need to be worry about it, there are 9 chapters and half are piece of cake! the lectures and assignments are more than enough for his exams (exams are mcq). get the concept, study, and attend lectures cuz he pulls up some quizzes for extra marks, or give some bonus marks if u participate.

hes a nice guy
