the prof spends a lot of time talking about lack of attendance, be prepared to do a group activity at the end of each class, doesn't post lecture slides until weeks after, takes long time to respond to emails, unclear assignment instructions and doesn't clearly unless asked, as well as lack of feedback on assignments, overall course isn't hard.
Course is not hard but Lucas' teaching style did not resonate with me. She often wasted an hour of a 3-hour lecture to speak about course-irrelevant things (e.g. complaining about lack of attendance). She did this nearly every week. Also, her instructions are unclear and are only made clear after assignments are submitted.
Vilmara was a fine professor, she was nice and this course was easy enough. However, she takes so long to mark assignments and papers and barely gives any feedback. Takes long to reply to emails too. She doesn't explain assignments clearly unless you ask her to clarify.
She's sweet, and fun, has great style, gives fair grades, delivers great lectures, and is super kind.
She is an insightful and caring lecturer, you will get picked on in class to answer questions but they are usually opinion-based, but it is also okay to not want to answer; participation counts towards your grades! She marked fairly easily at the beginning but by the end a few of my assignments I got marks off because it should be more "detailed"
