She is passionate about some of the material. She is also very knowledgeable on some of the material. She finished the lectures early most weeks but one week she didn't and some students got up to leave and she basically made them stay. Otherwise she was ok.
The course was easy to understand as long as you do the readings beforehand. There's gonna be quizzes that will force you to learn the material before lectures. I suggest doing the readings instead of relying solely on the powerpoints, because some questions that were on the weekly quizzes are not found on the slides
Her lectures are absolutely meaningless in terms of getting a good grade. Her lecture slides are even worse; they skip out on many things from the textbook. She doesn't do a good job at explaining what we need to know on exams, either. She's also a ridiculously hard marker for essays. Good luck if you have her.
she is caring and a strong, motivational lecturer, but she expects participation, and there's usually class discussion/activity. you have to attend her lectures to succeed, since her slides are dense and vague.
Nadia is very eloquent in her form of speaking and made class informative to attend. She would ask questions to the class and does expect participation so be prepared to share what you learned. The slides are very vague so reading the texts is very necessarily. If ur like me, the quizzes were a curve ball so be ready to actually lock in for them.
weekly quizzes, essay, and final make up grade. really boring, and not good at teaching. doesn't post the full slides, and you pretty much have to do the readings to do well on the assessments. essay's were marked by TA's and the prof, pretty fairly marked but harsh at times. better off having any other prof..
Good prof. You've rlly got to lock in for the APA test and youll be fine. I wrote my Essay in 2 days and got an 83%. Make sure to do all the quizzes on time and get a good grade before exams, so you dont need to work as much. overall she was a good prof, always finished lecture an hour early
