Lecture/ notes were content and text heavy, and provided no feedback on assignments. He never responded to any emails, rather he would just send out a class announcement stating the obvious being no help what so ever. He also taught us 0 content we were supposed to learn and he changed the final exam from the syllabus without informing the class.
He is a nice person but an awful teacher. Boring lectures, unclear with what he wants from assignments, final Exam was extremely difficult and had to be redone. Truly disappointing. Lowest mark I've gotten at university.
Prof would not teach about the actual course material rather his job at SOCAN and other stuff thats not useful. Exam was absolutely horrible, had fill in the blank with no word bank, over 90% of the class failing with an average of 56%. We now have to redo the exam because he didn't write it as HE SAID IN THE SYLLABUS. Waste of time.. Never again.
He is credible in his line of work, but he cannot to teach. This was a MUSIC BUSINESS course and for the last class he focused on AI, but not music and AI, JUST AI. This is not a computer science class. Final exam was fill in the blank with no word bank, asked too many random questions about AI and barely related to actual music business topics.
Final Exam was extremely heavy did not provide enough context as it was all fill in the blank. Truly disappointed that a professor does not give a clear review for the final
will be talking to my AL and program advisors.
This Professor provided only 4 assignments, weighted 15%, 15%, 25% (midterm), and 45% (final), and feedback on assignments did not accurately describe marks off (common opinion amongst peers). The final's format was a fill in the blank (online), which had no word bank and some answers were filler words such as and, the, and a.
Horrible! The final exam was impossible to answer with 100 questions in 2 hours, fill in the blank with no word bank there were a minimum of 2 blanks per question. This was 45% of our mark and we all definitely failed. The worst thing was that his lecture notes were so long and hard to read. Impossible to retain information.
Lectures so boring - wouldn't go or would leave at the mid break (if we even got one). 3 hours on repeated topics: AI, what is an artist, IP etc. WE KNOW! Assignments make no sense. Says what he wanted a week after the due date, whole class did it wrong. Final Exam = 45% - fill in blanks. - Blanks ex. the, use, at - horrible everyone failed
