Honestly, a sweet woman. Boring lectures, and her TAs mark for things not even on the Rubric. Arrived an hour late on the first day and put herself before her students. No real teaching, you can skip her class and probably get better marks. Save your sanity and switch professors.

She said on the first day that she should not be teaching a "beginner nursing course" because she has expertise but the university wants her to get a phd first. Unpassionate, hard marker, unhelpful lectures towards assessment, when we had a sub it was amazing, late, unprepared, constantly googling stuff on the slides that she didn't know etc.

Melissa honestly marks like we wronged her entire family bloodline.

she's a wonderful person, but unfortunately, her lectures are boring and skippable. amazing grading system + feedback on assignments, though.

She is not qualified for this whatsoever. Every other prof is way more qualified than she is. She has bad feedback and a bad way of grading. If you had or have her in the future I really feel so bad for you

Talks so much but says nothing useful. Very boring. Bad slideshows and bad lectures. If you can, DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.

shes so yawn #boring. went to the first two lectures and that was pushing it. She isnt passionate with teaching ppn201 doesnt make it engaging. Her and her TA's are so annoyingly difficult when it comes to marking the paper, literally only two assessments before the final. her ta's do all the work, try to switch out of her class if yall have her

If you have the option, DO NOT TAKE ANY COURSES W MELISSA! Her classes are so boring, she has no passion about nursing and marks extremely critically. Literally impossible to get a good mark on a paper with her bc she wants stuff done in such a specific way which she never bothers to explain prior to the due date. Also very dismissive w questions

She is extremely unpassionate, has a lack of energy, and seems like he dreads coming to class lectures. Her slides are so unorganized, and she doesn't post them until class starts, so you can't even make notes prior to it. She is also a tough grader, I didn't expect to get 60s on my paper. I stopped attending class bc of her lack of preparation.

Avoid her at all costs! She has no passion for teaching and puts in zero effort. She never seems prepared for class and has no clue about assignment requirements, which causes her students to get much lower marks compared to other classes.
