She is a good professor, not as bad as everyone makes her sound. She can have an attitude, especially when it comes to the memos. If you do the work and stay on top of things, you'll do well in her class.
It's surprising how the course went from good to frustrating in one semester. BUS221 is normally simple, but she made it unnecessarily difficult. Her attitude toward students was harsh, and her grading was extremely strict for no reason. I wouldn't take her again. She does the very most.
She's not good, tips are do the quizzes to grade max, also do good on memos, most important is do really good on midterm cause the final was unexpected. Use the internet to help with memo writing and the grading is very unreasonable and nit picky. Overall go for the other option, sit middle back of the class trust
idk what her problem is but she's so full of attitude for no reason and acts insanely rude, once i told her to have a good day and she didn't even bother looking up or saying anything back. she's a decent lecturer but i would avoid her at all costs if i were a first year...
She was a good professor. Her lectures were clear, and attending the tutorials after class is recommended. The practice questions she gives are pretty similar to the questions on the exam. Make sure you attend the lectures because of the weekly quizzes, and sometimes she will tell the class details about the exam which aren't posted.
I agree that she comes off sarcastic and rude. I attended every class and did well on the midterm, memos, and quizzes, but her attitude was the issue. She often talks down to students. I get it's a first-year class, but not everyone is a first-year, and she treats you like a child. It never felt nice or encouraging.
She is not a good prof. Her teaching style is okay…at best. Midterm was fair, however she did not do anything to help with the final. She was rude and sarcastic and just straight up mean sometimes. Honestly, she was my favourite prof in the beginning of the semester, now I avoid her. Mcsweeny is the better option.
