Gillian Mothersill

Gillian is one of the most disorganized profs I've ever had! We never got assignments back, and she was way overdue on the final marking deadline. I emailed her twice because I wanted to pick up an assignment I handed in, and she never responded. She would always send announcements on D2l about the trips she was on which she skipped class for too!

Gillian was the most disorganized professor I have ever seen. Grades for assignments were not given back until basically the start of the new semester, much after the official school deadline for final grades. All assignment guidelines were unclear, and changes were made to assignments extremely close to the deadline. Would not recommend taking.

VERY disorganized and rude to students, not easily available (forgets office hours and does not care to reschedule). Misses her own lectures and expects us to be there.

Sadly learned nothing from this course. Thought I would leave with more Typography knowledge but doing an assignment on emoji's isn't exactly the kind of university content I thought I signed up for. An unfortunate experience that was mostly taught by other students.

Gillian is nice when you talk to her one-on-one, but she doesn't know how to properly teach this class! She's knowledgeable on the content, but is unorganized and doesn't give clear instructions. It's been two weeks since marks were supposed to be on RAMSS, but I'm still waiting. This class was my open elective, and I've never been so disappointed.

This prof doesnt help you in the slightest. One time a student had to literally force her to answer a question that it is her job to answer, the student then said that she needed to teach that to all of us, to which she replied you try telling that to 250 students. That student then helped all of us for the rest of the lab, while she did nothing

Gillian is positivily the worst Professor I have had in my entire school career. For assignments she either gives no instructions at all, or gives vague details that she will later contradict to another section. She has just given back ONE of our marks over a week after we completed our final exam. If this class isnt not necessary do NOT take it.

Worst professor ever. A disorganized mess. Wastes class time pointlessly talking about her vacations. Inconsistent outlines & tells different class sections varying instructions. It's currently 8 days after our final exam and we have yet to receive a single mark back in the course, besides a tiny in-lab exercise only worth 2%. #WHEREAREOURMARKS

The most incredibly unorganized professor i have ever sadly met!!!! she talks about herself non stop! makes announcements on d2l just about herself! aren't informed about anything! its the end of the semester and we haven't gotten any marks back or any information regarding the exam! she is also away every other week! i feel bad if you have her

The most unorganized prof i've had. She cares more about talking about herself than the assignments. She doesn't always give outlines for projects and when she actually does they have spelling mistakes and other errors. She claims that her field requires attention to detail but she seems like she pays little attention to this class.
