Although she mostly read from the slides, she was very good at explaining difficult concepts. Study the test questions for the final, and you will do good. Gives lots of bonus marks.

The exam made me cry

Took her CHY 104 course. She reads off her slides and her lectures are slow and monotonous. However, she explains well during office hours and responds to emails quickly.

She reads from her slides for most of the lectures which makes them very dry and boring. She makes no point of engaging with the class during lectures and does not allow questions until the last 10 minutes of class. She goes through the practice problems too quickly to write them down. Her redeeming factor is that the exams were easy.

Her slide shows were really good and useful but her lectures are a bit boring. Not anything worse than average although I had a hard time with how much material there was to get through and how fast she goes through it.

Overall, the course was pretty easy - all midterms/exams were multiple choice. However, lectures were boring and the prof just read off the slides.

She is great but you have to have a good interest in Chemistry to do well

Professor Celsie is overhated, only downside is she reads off slides, but her slides r very detailed. Tests were also pretty easy for the material needed.
