Only reads slides and has a poor time management
Avoid him, he is not admitting that he is wrong, asking you to file an appeal even tough you are %100 right.
The midterm was very easy because the questions were very similar to the lecture problems and we were allowed to bring our own cheat sheet. He made a very vague formula sheet for us to use in the final, but it was similar to problems he gave us to do for review so if you did those you would still do great on the exam.
His usual format was - forget to make a slideshow for the lecture - use the previous prof's slides - start talking for extended periods without the slides about topics that very much need a visual to go with it - check back to the slideshow and advance it, finding the visual he should have had - "Oh we talked about this I'll skip this slide"
Material was always being presented late, so much so that pre-lab submissions were delayed by 2 weeks repeatedly. The formula sheet provided for the final exam, where you weren't permitted to bring your own, was purposefully design to only have the simplest formulas that anyone who had done practice problems would know and none of the complex ones.
Absolutely awful professor, the worst we've ever had. He frequently just stared at the slides like he was having a stroke, didn't know how to use an ipad, his lecture slides were impossible to follow and didn't include most of the stuff we needed, and he didn't allow an equation sheet for the final. Absolutely terrible, the final got curved HARD.
This guy is THE WORST PROF at TMU. The final is today and he cooked us. The formula sheet doesn't have near enough formulas and he expects us to memorize half the stuff. He made this course from a 4.0 course to a 0.67. I hate this guy.
genuinely insulting that they let him teach us. did nothing for an entire semester and now we're the ones cooked for the final exam. never finished content on time. steer clear.
The most disgustingly incompetent prof I have ever had the displeasure of being “taught” by. Lectures were 3 hours long and he would spend every minute of it staring at the screen in silence because he knew the material less than we did. I am BAFFLED that the engineering department let this man teach - if you value yourself at all, stay away.
Did not learn a single thing in this course from this professor, everything I learned was self-taught. Gave no context for labs, and handed out a project which most students could not do. Good thing is this course had no written midterm or final. But yeah STAY AWAY if you actually wanna learn anything.
