She was great; she really understood a student's perspective in the nursing program.
I was worried for my first clinical placement after hearing all the horror stories about instructors, so I thought I was very lucky to be assigned to Janet. She is caring, student centered, and was very encouraging both on the unit and during post-conference. The final case study was marked very fairly and exactly by the rubric.
Janet is the BEST clinical instructors. She is very caring and wants each one of her students to learn. She makes clinical amazing and somewhere you want to go each week. She is very supportive and is willing to help you out for anything. She is literally AMAZING!!
Janet is hands down the kindest and most understanding clinical instructor. She made clinicals less scary and she supported us through it all. Janet is a fair and easy marker as long as you follow the guidelines for the care plan and presentations were very laid back. As for the other assignments just ensure to hand it in and you will do well.
I failed NSE418 because of Norine Meleca and had to redo the course. Thankfully it was only one semester and I was lucky to have Janet as the prof. She is driven to help everyone pass and caters her teaching to everyone's learning needs. Provided clear instructions and expectations and created a welcoming space for learning. The best prof yet.
