Jihan Abbas

You should be excited if you have Jihan as a professor! I had her for 2 courses and her lectures and absolutely amazing! Sometimes the course content can be heavy esp with all the readings but she explains everything so well! She gives very helpful feedback, and genuinely wants her students to be critical thinkers/writers. One of the best DST profs

I had Dr. Abbas within the Disability Studies Department. Dr. Abbas' course was highly accessible, enjoyable, and engaging. As an activist, Dr. Abbas provided an excellent balance of theory and practice, providing a superb overview of disability rights, justice, and intersectionality. Great lectures and creative assignments! I highly recommend!
