Took all three BSM classes with him and he is one of the best professors at TMU. Theres obviously confusions every now and then in most courses but what sets him apart is how much he cares for his students. If you need help & make an effort to figure out a solution with him, he will help you because he genuinely wants his students to do well!
I have taken all three BSM classes for Creative Industries with Vinay and while there have been confusions every now and then as in other courses, he is one of the most considerate and caring professors I know. If you take the initiative to seek help, he will help you and genuinely wants his students to do well.
spending 130 on a textbook worth 5% of your grade. his midterm had genuine spelling errors in it. barely taught the course and barely clarified what you would need to know for the exams. if you have previous business education you're good, but he really talked about nothing fr
The $120 McGraw Hill textbook only counts for 5% of your grade, and participation in lectures is how he grades attendance. I understand the need for participation, but in a class with 100 other students, it is incredibly annoying to compete to answer a question to receive that week's grade for attendance.
Lectures were sometimes confusing in correlation with the slides posted, but overall I really liked him!! Super nice guy, easy to talk to and lectures were short. Group work every class and participation is mandatory, the exams were pretty fair.
I honestly loved him, hes a great teacher and keeps lectures short. I would totally recommend him to anyone, I learned a lot and hes a nice person. Vinay you are the goat.
Vinay is a good prof but the class is heavy in group work and participation. He has this "participation game" which honestly gets extremely draining especially as an introvert. I also hate the use of McGraw Hill because it's an unnecessary extra expense, not helpful for learning at all, and takes so long but at least you get a grade for it.
i will take no hate on this mans name, hes way better than ranj*ta and is actually KIND to his students, he looks at you like youre his student and not some annoying dog (unllike her). Yes, the tests are hard, but yes, he will do his best to explain things to you if you go up to him after class. easy group project marks and he ends class early!
his lectures never translated to exams. big on participation but chose the same 10 or so people. $130 textbook that you prob won't use but need to access mcgraw-hill. never specifies what's on exams, so you study everything but know nothing. there were literal grammar errors in the midterm for the mcq. he doesn't convey material clearly at all.
Honestly not as bad as I thought. Really nice but a little boring but still was very nice and had a good time as he was clear on what to look at in the textbook. Always ends class early after lecture or group work.
