SOC 808 - Her classes are super engaging and fun to be in. She is very understanding with deadlines and general course work and wants her students to succeed. The work was quite fun to complete as it was quite diverse with presentation, exams and essay all with very interesting topics to study. Highly recommend!

(SOC808) Overall great prof, just not my favourite content. Lectures were pretty quick, but there is a lot of participation, especially with the group project. There is a lot of material that you need to read individually, but the final was not difficult at all, and many of the questions are from the. "Making of the midterm".

(SOC 808) Overall a good prof but not my favourite content. Lectures can seem a bit repetitive at times, but the midterm questions at the end of class are a dead giveaway for the final test. Heavy participation is needed at times for things like group work. The TA is an okay marker, but I guess that depends on who the TA is. Lots of readings to do.

She is a very dynamic lecturer. She offers a lot of grade booster assignments and 5 questions on the midterm are made by the class.

Loved her for SOC 808. Fun and interesting class and overall pretty easy. Not sure why someone said she marks hard. Her midterm was multiple choice.

Class SOC808 (couldn't find the option). Overall easy course but she is a tough grader, especially for the group project (which was the main focus on the course). Her "midterm" is super easy though and she gives 30%~ of it from questions students chose. participation during the presentation weeks was graded but before that that, it was unnecessary.

Very nice and helpful. Lots of examples. Curved the grades as best she could while still being fair.

she's an awesome prof! very professional, knows what she's talking about, but is also very caring. she raised our midterm marks by 8%, and has in-class bonus activities for grade boosters. i think the readings are mandatory, but attendance doesn't really matter too much except for the in-class activity days. overall, would take her again!

She's amazing, so intelligent and engaging. Yet her exam is confusing, as so is her teaching style. Lecture slides are extremely brief, so I recommend taking notes on what she verbally explains. This made the mid-term confusing as there wasn't solid information to study. The readings are lengthy and leave you confused to which portions are relevant
