Laura Istanboulian

patho sucks and there's lots of stuff to learn but Laura is great and I'm grateful to have her for both semesters! she's very caring and approachable.

I had Dr. Istanboulian for semesters 3 and 4. I was told how hard Patho is and how most of the students fail this course for being difficult. The course was indeed difficult and a lot to study, but she was so helpful every single day to everyone, that people who actually wanted to learn, learnt a lot from her. 100% Recommended!

FYI this prof is fire. But, I didnt believe in god before this crse and now all i do is pray to pass it. Dont compare urself to others. Everyone lies fr. Its a hard course and you need to study well if you wanna be a good nurse. dont risk someones life!!dont do the readings, watch youtube videos. Good luck and may the odds be forever in ur favour.

Great lecturer. Repeatedly brings up most important topics throughout the lecture to refine student's knowledge and understanding. At times, I found the review of previous week's content at the beginning of the lecture to be too long and boring, but I can understand how it is useful in allowing students to understand the content

Dr. Istanboulian makes the annoying patho bearable. very kind and approachable. spends up to 1h reviewing important topics from previous lectures and still manage to finish around 2.5 hour or less! I like that she incorporates test review at the end of class so you can end early if you don't care or easily review your test if you care about it.

Dr. Istanboulian is great. Her lectures are well-organised, starting with a review and ending with key drug summaries. She breaks down complex concepts into clear, understandable explanations. I highly recommend her.

She helped simplify the class content and ensured we understood the main concepts.
