Daniel Rubio

Took two classes with him this semester. I've had many profs who expound about how much they care about teaching, only for them to be completely inaccessible, and frankly, not care one bit about teaching anyone anything. Rubio is the opposite, I've never seen someone more excited to share knowledge and make sure his students can navigate uni easier

Probably the most knowledgeable philosophy prof based on my experience. Theres a good bit of reading, but the topic changes every week so it makes it more fun. Genuinely one of the most engaging lecturers the school has. Additionally, a very easy going teacher.

This class is amazing, Prof Rubio gives no final exams, however the 3 quizzes in the course are all you get--which shouldn't be an issue if you go to class. MUST go to class to understand course material, but the material is not hard to grasp and is taken up during class time. you're able to get 100's as long as you understand the content.

This course suits those who enjoy logic and math. The instructor isn't very talkative but explains well during office hours. Lectures are fast-paced. There's no textbook, just topic titles. Three exams (4 marks each) give 1 mark for attendance, but good grades require math-like preparation.

This man is mesmerizingly brilliant! His incredible depth of knowledge goes way beyond the course into so many areas it is astounding to listen to him. I have over 70 credits in this university and Mr. Rubio is by far the most intelligent person I have ever listened to. I would take this course again because it was a real treat to listen!

Had him for metaphysics. Very smart, easy easy class. Fun debates, we watched Dr. Who and Star Trek a lot to understand time travel. Easy to talk to, projects are open ended and you write reflections on whatever you want! Very easy to do well and not a lot of work at all. He explains the concepts so well and it's very interesting and cool! Love him
