Amazing Professor. Lectures are engaging and easy to follow. I read the textbook and showed up to the lectures but the textbook is not necessary (but helpful). If you have the option take her, even the 3 hour lectures and bearable and engaging.

Took her at YorkU. No surprises, everything was from the lectures. Loved taking the class as an English major, super interesting. Loved the assignments, discussion posts, and URPP, basically other ways to gain marks.

she is the best professor I ever had, don't think twice and take any course that she is teaching, her lectures are so interesting you don't want them to end. Her tests are from the lectures and if you attend the lectures and engage you will just need to take a look at the slides the day before and you will get A.

I am currently in her PSYC1010 class right now, and she IS THE BEST prof ever. Ive heard horror stories about other PSYC 1010 profs at york, especially how they test you on textbook material. She is FUNNY, KIND, and replies to all your emails. YORK should hire more profs like her and her salary needs to be RAISED and we need to gatekeep her lol.

I am currently taking her PSYC 1010 course at York University, and I am convinced she is God-sent. She has amazing lectures, her tests are solely lecture based, and best of all, no textbook needed. Ive heard horror stories with other PSYC profs, but thankfully she transferred from TMU (please stay) York university needs more teachers like her!!

By far the best prof at TMU. Please please take a class with her if you can you will not regret it. She is hilarious and very engaging and cares about her students.

She's a new prof but genuinely one of the best I've had. Really interesting lectures and she explains concepts very clearly in a way that really sticks in your mind. Textbook is unnecessary as long as you attend lectures as exams are lecture-based and are not super difficult if you follow along with the lectures.

her lectures are really good and fun , tests are difficult and i think she doesnt consider the fact that english is a second language for some students.the assignment was really tough and thats why i got a b cause its worth 25% and as an international student it was hard for me to work on the assignment .

Professor Alisha Salerno is by far one of the best professors I've had! Her lectures are engaging and fun to be at. Shes amazing at explaining different concepts and is always willing to further explain things if you may be unsure. I would recommend her class to anyone and would for sure take it again!
