This was not an easy class to say to least, but unlike a lot of other opinions, I really enjoyed taking this course with professor Ahmad. He truly cares for his students, and provides a lot of examples to prepare students for the tests. Textbook is mandatory, you will not do as well in this course without it. Great guy overall.
In his lectures, he spends more time asking questions rather then explaining concepts, the textbook did most of the teaching as the lectures were spent with him barely explaining any concept
Just show up to class and you'll do great. Material was really digestable and he is very approachable.
Professor Ahmad is truly an amazing person who gets you to think. He wants you to focus on the content rather than taking outside information into the class, use facts to back statements, and overall get you to think. The discussions are very thought provoking and his visuals paint a good picture helping my memory for content.
Dr. Ahmad is so knowledgeable and kind. His lectures are well structured and he is very easy to talk to. He cares about his students and remembers names which is very thoughtful. Ethics was definitely my favourite of all of the required crim courses so far.
He's very nice, but kinda average as a professor. His teaching style is straightforward, and he explained the content well. The class is divided into weekly participation, a midterm, an essay, and a final exam. Unfortunately, I recall his assignment instructions being extremely vague. On a positive note, I recommend going to his office hours.
He is alright, but I do not think I would take him again.
LOVED this prof! His lectures were engaging and gave many opportunities for participation. If you read the textbook and pay attention in class, the course is very easy. He has very flexible office hours and he is super helpful. Exams were easy too! No doubt, he gives us a challenge, but isn't that the whole point? Would def have him again!
if you care about your gpa, no. got cooked despite trying. genuinely confused about the grades i got.
Wasn't my favourite class, felt the lectures were a bit boring. Attendance was important because of weekly discussion posts. One midterm and final along with an assignment. Felt the marking was a bit strange.
