Really the worst prof at tmu, you better pray you dont get her

The course is easy. The professor made it difficult. In Bharti's class, there ARE wrong questions, she provides no valuable feedback, and a lot of the time it seems she is trying to humiliate you for your efforts. The instructions for the final deliverables are conflicting as well. I'd suggest finding a professor that actually wants you to succeed.

Honestly, half-term passed, I don't think she is the worst like all of the comments, instead pretty engaging lecture. BUT PLEASE, PROF MEHAK IF YOU ARE READING THIS, PLEASE ADJUST YOUR LECTURE SLIDES. All of her slides have >110 slides which are impossible to take note, and they are SUPER UNORGANIZED, if I dont want to say they are messy

During group presentations, the professor openly ridicules students in front of their peers. Her feedback is delivered in a condescending and dismissive tone, keeping students at the front of the class to critique them in a way that feels more humiliating than educational. Makes students feel discouraged and undermined.

way too heavy lecture content, makes studying for the tests impossible with the amount of content. strict marker, and intimidating to talk to

Don't take this class if you have anxiety surrounding presentations. She tries her best to embarrass every single group. Lectures have over 200 slides and take her forever to get through and you are marked on participation. She tries to counter or embarrass every single person who tries to participate in class. The embarrassment is not worth 5%.

She is a really nice prof and the classes are engaging, but she marks really harsh. Is very strict on participation grades and isn't very clear on expectations. the exams don't relate enough to the course material so you have to read the textbook, and even then it doesn't feel like enough.

Horrible prof. The final group project felt like a humiliation ritual. She was extremely condescending and rude in her questioning, and she had absolutely no intention of helping students or trying to explain where they went wrong. Her criticism was not constructive in the slightest and just flat out rude. I
