Karine Sliverwoman

She is alright. Very unclear about assignments and does not teach. Honestly I only went to a couple of her classes but she is so unbearable.

Karine's classes are alright, a lot more focus on mindfulness and her personal experiences with work instead of covering the readings or content. She is extremely considerate and accommodating though, that's kind of her thing. Assignments instructions are extremely vague and following-up with her does not help with clarity.

VERY unclear abt what she wants and super unorganized. Didn't upload a rubric for term essay until days before deadline/ was super vague about what she wanted. She also holds herself on a very high pedestal, 2 classes in students refrained from voicing their opinions bc she shit on anything they said. she forgets we're students there to LEARN

She is very unclear with grading criteria. She gave us a lot of freedom for our group project, yet no one knew what she was looking for. She draws on her own experiences rather than discussing the readings. I know this wasn't her intention, but she came across as condescending and rude at times. However, she is a very easy marker so that's a plus.

Karine is super accommodating and understanding!! She marked very fairly, but I would've benefited from her giving clearer assignment instructions. Lectures were unconventional as it was more group discussions than lecture. You can tell she did not want to be confined to an academic lecturing style and went with the flow of class discussions.
