She's pretty chill. It was an interesting and good class. She gives a break when she notices the class dozing off and lets you out early at times. Just pay attention and you'll be good!
Insane amount of required reading but very qualified. Speaks boldly even on controversial and uncomfortable topics, very passionate and has lots of experience in the field.
Professor is nice and very passionate about the subject. Tries her best to make it interesting, though the material isn't for everyone. She is very good at... projecting her voice however, so look out for that. The class is fairly straightforward, with 2 assignments, midterm, exam, as well as reflection-heavy tutorials. Easy A if you put in effort
Loved this course. The material could get dry, but the prof explained things clearly and kept it engaging. Tests and assignments were straightforward, and the workload was light. TA Azadeh was also really helpful. Great option if you want a manageable class with solid support.
Absolutely loved this prof and this class. She uses the 10 minute grace period to let students bring up current social issues to discuss which I thought was unique. It so was easy for me to stay engaged in her lectures, she is very passionate about what she teaches and it shows. Shoutout to TA Susan as well, she was wonderful!
the lectures can be long but professor khayambashi is passionate about the subject matter and tries her best to make it interesting. she's also super caring and fun to talk to! tutorials are reflection-heavy. all assignments and exams are pretty simple.
Professor Shirin is nice but she is very unorganized. Her slides are poorly formatted. Not the worst but not the best experience with her.
very easy going, caring. very straight forward about the content and exam materials.
Lecture was a little boring but she is very passionate about what she teaches. Lots of writing in tutorials but it is all very easy as long as you follow the lecture. Her accent is a little tough to follow but highly recommend.
could not make a slideshow organized to save her life but just read the textbook and you will be fine.
