Lectures were funny and entertaining.

Amazing prof and lectures were to the point and interesting. Lectures werent mandatory but would recommend going as his slides only has the testable content. The course is 3 exams (25x3) and 2 assignments and are fairly straight forward.

Funny some people complaining about exams when the prof literally said the questions come from the textbook publisher and he doesn't get to choose the textbook for the class. Almost like these ppl didn't show up to lectures or something. Anyway, great prof, great class...if you actually show up.

The final exam felt unclear and not well aligned with the expectations set throughout the course. Several multiple-choice questions included answer options that were quite vague.

I will recommend you to not take this course in any condition. His exam don't make any sense. No matter how much you study. He will make questions like he asking therapy questions. Just dont take this prof

I loved how he taught this class. Tried to make it as relatable as possible and leaned on class discussions that added so much to my understanding. There is only one essay and two exams, so it is a light course. However, it is a lot to learn, but worth it if you want to have a greater understanding of what makes the self.

If you showed up to lectures and did the reading, he was fairly aligned with his testing and you would do fine. However he is someone who gave me the impression of wanting to come off as cool and he tended to go off on long random tangents during lectures. I found he crossed professional boundaries with his topics at times.

Amazing prof and lectures! Out of all my lectures throughout the semester, his were the only ones I didn't skip lol. He likes getting to the point and is pretty chill. Lectures were long but weren't boring. Didn't really use the textbook except for when I had to study, but I just skimmed through it. He's a pretty cool and down to earth dude!

Loved him! He was really kind and funny. Exams are all straight forward, no tricky question. He also gives really clear instructions on the essay assignment, follow it and you will do well. Def will take him again if I had the chance!!

I loved professor Plesa! His lectures were easy to follow along with and he gave great memorable examples (and film recommendations) when teaching, as well as editing down slides to only include testable material. I would definitely take a class with them again given the chance.
