Arghavan Asad

Professor Arghavan Asad is an excellent instructor who truly wants her students to succeed. The midterms and final exam were very fair and closely reflected what was covered in lectures and review sessions. She made expectations clear and even shared practice questions and relevant material ahead of time, which made studying much more manageable.

She doesn't read off slides but rather uses her own research and current day examples to teach. She explains concepts with examples and will engage with students to ensure they learn. The type of professor that if you attend lectures you will get good grades. She goes above and beyond by recommending career paths and post grad options.

The professor is very passionate in her lectures. She goes beyond simply reading the slides by explaining difficult topics on the whiteboard, breaking concepts down to their fundamentals. This approach really helps me understand the structure of each problem and how to solve it. She is also willing to answer additional questions in great detail.

Seriously one of my favorite professors. She's super approachable and always quick to respond to emails. She makes hard material way easier to understand. Plus, she's really patient. If you have a chance to take her, DO IT!

Amazing professor, she's responsive to emails and always takes the time to answer any questions during class. She explains complex topics in a way that actually makes sense and goes through lots of practice problems to help us prepare for exams. She even stays after class to help anyone who needs extra support. 100% recommend her

Dr. Asad was a great professor. She helped the students with all the questions we had during lectures. She helped us study for the midterm and final exam to achieve the highest grade. She's caring and nice, and was definitely the best professor for COE 428

Between the other 2 professors teaching 428, Dr. Asad is likely the best. Dr. Samavi is a little too theory focused at times, and Dr. Sedaghat is not good at communicating the difficult concepts well. Regardless, she is still not incredible at teaching. She does not have notes, so her instruction is exclusively in class.

Professor Asad had amzing lectures where she would explain the content while doing many problem solving questions to prepare us for exams that helped a lot. She was also very kind enough to give us insights on how to prepare for the work field and industries we would be applying to jobs at, which was really helpful.

Dr. Asad was an amazing professor. She made the course and learning very easy and enjoyable. Her teaching methods were amazing. I would 100% recommend you pick her for your courses.

Befor this sem started people told me this course is hard but it actually ended up being very easy thanks to professor Asad. She made everything so clear and it was so easy to understand all the content. I wrote the final exam like two days ago and I was very confident writing an exam for the first time. If you ever get the chance take this prof!
