Riley Yesno

I had Yesno as a lecturer at UofT for "Indigenous Politics" (JPI201) and it was the best class I had taken all semester. The way that she engaged with the students was amazing and for such a large class I have never seen so many students have the confidence/interest to ask questions. I believe this says a lot about the environment she creates

An amazing professor. She was extremely engaging, and very enthusiastic about the content being taught. She was also very accomodating when it came to extensions, and willing to help you understand the content well if you had questions. Her feedback on assignments were really helpful and encouraging. Couldn't recommend her enough!

I had to take this because it is required for my major but it is interesting. The course is somewhat light but sometimes difficult to understand. However, the professor is nice but does not respond to emails. Sometimes it would take 5-7 days to answer. Anytime I would try to ask her nicely to answer the questions, she would tell me she's too busy.

Professor Yesno is very passionate about what she teaches which makes her classes more entertaining and great. She is very lenient with giving extensions and her assignemnts are pretty easy just do exactly what she asks. She wants all her students to do well and we do not have a final exam; the class is mostly assignment's, discussion posts...

Professor Yesno is so amazing. Her lectures are so inspirational and she is so passionate when teaching. Her marking is very fair and she provides great feedback. Assignments are straightforward and interesting to complete. There was also no final exam for this course, just a final paper, which was really helpful during exam season.

It was a pleasure being in Professor Yesno's class, she is truly passionate about what she teaches and it shows. She is easy to approach, quick to answer emails, and is always willing to give you an extension if you ask for it! Her lectures are very engaging, and her assignments consist of discussions and reflective short essays! Highly recommend!

Riley is super knowledgeable and passionate about what she teaches and her lectures were really engaging and enjoyable! She was caring, easily accessible outside of class, and very accommodating to various student needs! I would definitely recommend her and take a class with her again!

Riley was an amazing prof. She really cares about the material and always makes lectures really engaging. Truly a caring and wonderful prof, not only does she provide great lectures, you can tell she really does care about her student and their learning. Was very accommodating and understanding when it came to assignments.

The absolute BEST professor I've ever had at TMU. Honestly, the BEST. I'm in her CRM 400 course. However, there was no option to click that yet. Anyway, Professor Yesno by far is the greatest profs ever. Provides excellent feedback, engaging course material/reading, amazing marker and provides many assignments where you can get good marks. The BEST
