Toronto MU might as well have posted a job listing for the best "reader," because Colleen does ZERO teaching on her part. Her teaching style is condescending, with textbook material dumped onto slides. Expectations are so vague it feels like a guessing game. For the tuition we pay, it's abysmal—a total S C A M.
Being a graduate of the program and someone who took this course herself, you'd think she'd be empathetic. Her students are afraid to ask her questions because she is rude in response. The course is heavy and the content is challenging, students need guidance and she is more than unwilling to help. It's bizarre. I don't know why she took the job.
Never had a professor this incompetent. Refuses to answer questions; even if she does, it was never the answer you are looking for. As of recently, my class got a 56% average for the midterm. She says she would give tips to do better but refuses to help us?! Does not care about her students and was basically “you guys are own your own gl” AVOID HER
Wouldn't take a class with her ever again, avoid if you can. While her first midterm felt fair initially our class avg was 56%. many complaints about the test which she didn't answer appropriately. pretty much said sorry too bad you didn't study.... I went to every class, read every bit of the textbook, did her journal clubs. no guidance whatsoever
I had a 3.9 GPA throughout the program most courses are easy for me but this one. Prof is unable to teach, 3 hour 9 AM labs each week that teach nothing are mandatory. Puts content that is not taught during the lectures and his hidden in the textbook. Poor attitude, gets MAD when students ask questions. AVOID OR TAKE ONLINE AT ALL COSTS
