Honestly I only went to class one time for the whole semester, there's no final exam, all the tests are online and open book, but there is a pretty heavy paper for the midterm. In my opinion it wasn't that tough but I was looking for a pass not a boost. He critiqued into detail but I would take again just because it was online with no final exam.
It's not a bird course if you take GEO 110 with him. There are 4 quizzes in Total and it's online(no proctoring). There will be a 1200+ word term assignment. He reads every line and he is a very tough grader when it comes to this assignment. I don't recommend taking this course with him.
This professor reads off slides and does not properly answer questions I and other students asked about the material. He assigned a large essay that was due at the same time as midterms in other courses. The essay required diagrams, and he did not allow me to use Google Sheets instead of Excel due to trivial formatting differences.
we had this prof mid way through the course and he was a good prof. the test are what he actually teaches, and open book and online. many people are saying the essay was hard, we had the essay from the original prof so that was easy. he does read off the slides word for word.
Marks hard and absolutely speeds through material.
He's a new professor and he takes this course too seriously. It's a course inapplicable to most of our majors, yet he made us write a 2400 word essay and marked hard on it. In addition, his lectures are boring, he reads off slides and a course which should be a GPA booster, is all of a sudden lower than your other courses. Bad prof, don't recommend
I was interested in geography before this class. He just read off the slides, which were very content-heavy, making the course very difficult. The tests are very application based while he did not explain anything properly. Unfortunately, I had to drop out as it was giving me too much anxiety. The class was very uninteresting.
He just reads off the slides and his tests are not always reflective of what he teaches because he doesn't... I've been in uni long enough to know when I see a professor fresh out of grad school and yeah sure he's new but reading off the slides... like I can do that at home. Also, 2400 word assignment for a lower liberal is way too much.
