He definitely can be difficult to understand, however, the course is not difficult. He also made attempts to help the class succeed. Quizlet is your best friend.
I went to classes so I am bitter cause he's so BAD. He doesn't post slides to annotate, rants off-topic, and the in-class practice questions (also doesn't post them) are not helpful cause the slides are SO oversimplified you can't answer it without the textbook. He is a sweet person but it's not enough to make me forget he's a bad prof. Stay home.
Honestly, how can you hate this guy? 😭 like yeah his teaching was pretty bad and his instructions on that one assignment but i mean he gave 100 to the entire class. I wish he stayed, he was a really nice prof overall and the course was acc easy not hard at all and he would give hints for his exams
Greatest prof in my entire university so far, he is inspirational and a super man.
as a wise man once said “Metamorphafuze into a beautiful butterfly do not stay a caterpillar”. Mr Hoque is amazing. if he was a planet he would be the sun, if he was a day he would be saturday. People hate but then don't show up? like i would be mad too if i missed the kpop dance party. Once u walk into the classroom you'll feel his intelligence.
The kpop dance party at the end of the semester was the greatest moment in my university career. His inspiring words on the first day of class “Do I can change everything?” Is something we should all ask ourselves when making decisions in life. Awesome prof, our tests were online but in person and he does boost like crazy
I took the Developmental Biology Class in Winter 2022. Dr. Hoque was a great professor! He was caring and supportive, especially since we had to return to in-person classes midway through our semester. Lectures were clear and supported by research. He was approachable outside of classes and responds quickly to any questions/concerns.
I took several courses with Dr. Hoque, and he is very kind and helpful. He is always willing to assist students, even outside of class hours. He responds to emails promptly and gives extensions when needed.
Amazing prof!! He is willing to support students whenever they need assistance.
BLG567 was kind of a mess with Dr. Hoque. There were 3 in-class (group) case studies, along with a group research project that all included a presentation, so you need to go to those. You definitely don't need to go to his regular lectures though, and can definitely succeed by just reading the textbook. Relatively easy A, he gives free marks :)
